Roman Forum ticket prices 2026 at a glance

The standard ticket is called 24h Colosseo, Foro Romano, Palatino. It costs €18 for adults and €2 for eligible EU citizens from 18 to under their 25th birthday. There is no general student discount for all nationalities. Under 18 enters free.

It covers the regular Colosseum route without the arena, plus the Forum, the Palatine and the Forum Museum. It gives one entry to the Colosseum at the time you book and one shared entry to the Forum and Palatine at a time you choose.

The ticket is sold by the archaeological park that runs the site, in its online shop and at the ticket offices. This guide is independent and does not sell tickets. Prices below are entrance prices, so check the final total in the cart before you pay.

How the standard combined ticket works

  • Colosseum: one entry at the date and time you book. That slot is fixed.
  • Forum and Palatine: one shared entry at a time you choose, on the same day or within 24 hours before or after your Colosseum slot. The ticket is also described as valid for 24 hours, so do not read it as any two days after purchase.
  • Order: you can visit the Forum before the Colosseum. The Colosseum time stays binding.
  • Re-entry: none. Walk through the Forum and the Palatine in one go before you leave the site.
  • On your phone: the digital ticket is enough. You do not need a printout.

Regular Colosseum slots appear 30 days before the visit. Special products can have other deadlines, so check the product page when you book.

Forum Pass SUPER and the special sites

For visitors who skip the Colosseum or want the interiors.

What the pass covers

It costs €18, reduced €2, and gives one entry on the day of use, with no time slot needed. It includes the Forum, the Palatine, the Imperial Forums, the Temple of Romulus, the Curia and the Forum Museum. If you buy it online, use it within 30 days.

The SUPER sites

The core list: the lower floor of the Palatine Museum, the House of Augustus (closed Mondays), the House of Livia (closed for restoration), the Aula Isiaca with the Mattei loggia, the exhibition rooms of the Domus Tiberiana, Santa Maria Antiqua and the Horrea Piperataria. They open from about 9:30 until one hour before closing.

Not on the free Sunday

The pass cannot be used on the free first Sunday of the month.

The standard ticket and SUPER

Do not assume the standard ticket opens every SUPER room. Choose a Full Experience ticket or the Forum Pass if the interiors matter to you.

Names, ID and changes

Tickets are issued in a name. Bring the ticket and a matching ID. Since 9 May 2026 you can change a ticket only once, at the latest by midnight on the seventh day before the visit. The only reasons are a clear spelling error, a wrong assignment within the same purchase or a serious, documented impediment.

Tickets for the guided evening visit follow stricter terms and cannot be changed afterwards. Check the terms of each product before you book. Keep the ticket and the ID together.
